Game2: Aesop's Land |

 |
Floor Game "Aesop's Land"
Aesop's Land was based on Ravensburger board game Sagaland. The 2x2m board was designed by a professional designer.
It depicted an olive grove with a village at one of its ends and Parthenon at the other. A road dotted by olive trees runs
through the forest. As you travel through the trees, you try to find hidden treasures: characters and items from all your
favourite Aesop's myths. When you stop at a tree, you can peek underneath to see who or what is hiding there.
After you've had a sneak peek, you put the tree back without telling any one else what you found and carry on with your
journey to another tree. The problem is that you need to remember what you find under each tree, which is trickier than it
sounds after you've looked under several trees.
Everybody is racing to get to the Parthenon and correctly reveal the whereabouts of three of the treasures. The Parthenon
contains a stack of cards, one for each treasure. The top card is always turned up and, when you arrive at the Parthenon,
you have to successfully reveal the whereabouts of the treasure depicted on the card. If you fail you are sent back to the
village to start your journey over again. If you succeed you can reveal the whereabouts of the treasure on the next card.
