A brief profile of our organisation

ECOSE was founded in 1994. It is a socio-cultural non-governmental, non-profit making organisation. It acts at supranational level. It interacts with public and private organisations throughout Europe, North Africa, West Asia and Latin America. It collaborates with international agencies. Its actions aim at:
• the development of socio-cultural policy making.
• the enhancement of the active participation of the ordinary people in the civic society.
• the enrichment of the people's educational, social and cultural level.
• the promotion of the European integration.

ECOSE plans, coordinates and realises cultural and artistic meetings, encounters, international training courses, information campaigns, youth exchange projects, seminars for elderly people, libraries for blind people, social programmes for street kids, school courses on multicultural learning, language courses. It stages theatre plays and concerts. It develops various educational publications, pedagogical leaflets, activity books for teachers, assimilation games, historical posters, books etc.
